Fire Hydrant Murals

Art at every corner

Along the Art Loops, everyday infrastructure is transformed into community creations at the hands of local artists. A series of mini-murals by Utah illustrator Brooke Smart layer playful personas onto our town’s fire hydrants, evoking imagination and delight from passersby. Colorful and full of character, these whimsical pieces are located along the Youth Art Walk, where students have lovingly provided names such as Rodeo Rosie, as well as near the library, where you’ll encounter literary characters including Mother Goose and the Tin Man.
