sidewalk poetry
words along the walk
As part of the Literary Walk, located along 100 East between the Library and the Museum, sidewalk poems invite residents and visitors to experience Springville through the words of poets past and present. This collection of 20 sidewalk poem installations transforms an everyday walking route into a space for reflection, curiosity, and discovery. Created through a community call for submissions responding to the question, “How do you experience Springville?,” the Literary Walk features voices from local poets, including youth, alongside select public domain works. By weaving literary arts into the pedestrian experience, the sidewalk poetry celebrates Springville’s sense of place while encouraging connection, exploration, and new perspectives through walking, words, and wonder.
